Carol Ann Klinzing Krayeski

Carol Ann Klinzing Krayeski, age 81, of Arnold, PA, formerly of Erie, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at the home of her daughter. She was born in Erie on March 13, 1937, daughter of the late William J. and Marian L. Hess Klinzing.

Carol was a 1956 graduate of East High School. She had been employed by the former International Paper Co. for 42 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Lamb of God Lutheran Church.

Carol is survived by three daughters, Sharon A. Wicker (Terry), Melissa A. Krayeski of Carrollton, OH, and Susan A. Crawford (Chris) of Erie; one son, James A. Krayeski, Jr., (Stephanie) of Erie; two brothers, Harold Klinzing and Howard Klinzing both of Erie; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Krayeski, Sr.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 pm until the time of the Funeral Service there at 8 pm, conducted by Rev. Kim Hirsch of Lamb of God Lutheran Church. Private interment will take place at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be designated to Heritage Hospice, 2400 Leechburg Road, No. 300, New Kensington, PA 15068.

The founder of the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., Constantine "Gus" Dusckas, was born in Titusville, Pennsylvania, on July 22, 1915, the son of Greek immigrants. It has been noted that the Dusckas family had a close relationship with the Drake family of oil well fame.
